Hey Kids! Download your copy of The Pig Issue now
The 2020 issue of our fun 'make and do' magazine for all primary ages includes:
Ladies in Pigs working with schools and colleges
Ladies in Pigs understands the need for educating our future generations. We regularly attends school days and educational institutions, providing recipe ideas and cookery demonstrations so that the children and young adults learn while having fun!
We also produce an activity booklet called ‘The Pig Issue’ for children. Over 25,000 copies of 'The Pig Issue' children's pack were handed out at events last year. The pack featured a comic type activity book aimed at key stage 1 and 2 at primary level. As well as including fun things to make and do, the booklet also contains healthy eating information which is now part of the school’s curriculum. This made 'The Pig Issue' a welcomed feature from many of those in authority in education.
We have recently completed work on our KS3 and 4 workbooks which are designed to be used either as a follow up activity following a visit, or to work alongside studies to give 'real life' employer engagement.
Now that schools are back - we are available for visits. This will be done in line with government guidelines but will still offer a fun, educational day for all. To book a date, click here to open our booking form.
